Mark has two brothers, Matt and Luke. all three of them have an amazing relationship together. Matt is Marks middle Brother, best friend, and partner in crime. Its always sooooo borring for me to hang out with Matt and Mark when they are together…. it seems like whenever they are together they get in some kind of Matt/Mark world that no one understands (but them of course). But, I love that they have such an amazing relationship, and at times I am jealous! Matt and his girlfriend helped us out this past weekend as models for our Mark Brooke lighting class. They are so cute together and I am so happy they drove down to rock out a fun shoot. Matt and Jeannette are such a PERFECT couple, and I am so excited to see what is in store for them in the future.
Like I mentioned, we had our lighting class this past weekend, and it was sooo much fun! We talked about all the gear one might need to shoot off camera lighting, exposure, different lighting tips, editing, and shooting. It was super awesome to meet new photographers and help be apart of the lighting class.

Mark and I network with many different vendors, all of which seem to be very similar in style to Mark Brooke Photography. All of our referred vendors give a fun, colorful, fresh perspective to their clients weddings. Typologie and Co. Is one of our favorite Invitation vendors! It is so hard to find a great invitation company that can produce a product that does not look sterol. They are so inspiring when it comes to their style and the talent they have while building invitations. When I met Ashley and Amber I was ecstatic to start referring them biz. They are such amazing girls that have really built their biz around the clients wedding vision. I would be thrilled to have all our Mark Brooke Clients use them for their invitations, and even more thrilled to have other vendors pass on some referral love to them. I know they are eager to meet with some amazing clients, vendors, and rad people for 2010 (like all of us)!

WPPI is a very exciting photographer expo/learning opportunity for Wedding Photographers. It takes place in Vegas, which makes the atmosphere much more exciting then any other location. Mixed with the lights, the discounted products, the photographer workshops, and amazing parties, it is pretty much impossible not to have awesome time. Last year we met with several photographers for Group Mentor Sessions. This year we are super excited to be offering that opportunity again! We will offer these Group Mentor Sessions on March 7th (sunday). Each Group Mentor Session will be able to hold a max of five photographers. We will be going over the start up of a photographer business, marketing, sales, lighting, and shooting and editing techniques. This would be a great opportunity for a photographer that is eager to grow their photography business quickly in 2010. We are super excited for WPPI and cant wait to meet a bunch of rad photographers. Chris and Akiko tied the knot last week! They are the first rad couple to tie the knot with Mark Brooke Photography in 2010. The first time we met them at Starbucks we knew they were such an awesome couple. They met through mutual friends and immediately hit it off. Akiko is so sweet and such a joy to be around, and Chris is such a crack up! On their E-session we got to hangout with them, and again realized how RAD they are as individual people. We took a lot of photos on their wedding day, but here are just a few of our favorites!
