All growing up I was in some kind of sport or after school activity. My parents were petrified that I would become one of those kids that just "hung around" getting into trouble. Little did they know I still got in trouble, but their plan to keep me from "hanging around" worked! Some times I would go from girl scouts, to soccer practice, to church group in one night. Now looking back on it, it was great! And it really taught me how to manage my time, be athletic, and make random friends in any situation.... Now fast forward.... I have been living on my own for over 6 years, and all I do is work, be a homebody, and fit in hanging out with my friends through out the week. What seems to be missing is a hobby. Since I was little I have Never had one of those "simple" hobbies; like painting, or collecting things, or under water basket weaving etc... I was bounced around to after school activities and extra curricular junctions. So, here is my thoughts on a new hobby. I am going to start making greeting cards! Boring? No way! Greeting cards are a perfect fit to my lifestyle. If I only have 15 min or 3 hours I can find time to make at least one card. Not only that, I use to love giving friends notes and words of encouragement, So a greeting card would be perfect! How awesome is it when you open your mail box and find a nice note from a friend or relative? Well stick with that thought.... Are you still thinking about it? Now do you think its boring? I dont, I think it will be fun and awesome!
The Avery family emailed us last month with a few requests. They wanted us to take photos of their family that were fun and pulled out their individual personalities. When Mark met their family it was an easy request! They are such a fun loving family that really know how to have fun! It reminded Mark of his family and sibling dynamic growing up. You can tell their family is well connected and enjoy spending time together. There where alot of photos to chose from, but here are just a few of our favorites.

I’ve been stalking your site for, like forever! I love your style and try to capture it in my own amateur photography.
Getting into card making??? AWESOME!!!
I’ve been making cards for about 6 yrs. now, for the same reasons you mentioned. It’s such fun to send a pretty and fun parcel with a note of thanks, best wishes or encouragement. Such a fun alternative to what people normally find in their mailboxes. And hey, somebody’s gotta keep the USPS busy.
I hope you’ll post a pic or two… excuse me, I mean an AWESOME pic or two of your creations!
And hey, thanks for all your inspiration… You two really know how to ROCK a camera!
