Cami is so beautiful, both inside and out! Last week we got to take a few head shots for her new website. When I met with her it was like I had seen my long lost friend again. She is so sweet, and truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. We have know Cami for a few years now, and we could not be more excited about her future as a photographer! We took ALOT of images, but here are just a few of our  favorites :)

Mark and I are super excited to board a Airplane and head to NYC. We will be there August 7th -11th teaching mentor sessions, classes, and shooting. We were working on one of our Customized all day mentor session "game plans" and thought we would share all the info with our blog readers.

When we do any type of mentor session, we always try and make it 100% customizable to you. Once we know what you want to learn and talk about we make a game plan. Usually the game plan starts at a coffee shop and ends at coffee shop, since we are addicted... And of course we take you out to a nice lunch if it's an all day mentor session.

We LOVE teaching, and "talking" Camera, photography, editing, lighting, Inspiration, Business, Mindset, and work ethic etc...

This past Monday I got to Throw and host my good friend Jessica Norwoods baby shower!!! Jessica is a great friend of mine, and I feel soooo lucky to have her as a friend and in my life. She is having a little boy in just a few weeks so I know my little Oslo is excited for his new friend to arrive!

I had LOTS of help with this shower! All my great girlfriends in the wedding industry pulled together to help design this super cute Teal and Green Owl themed shower. Thanks Lindye for all your help designing and crafting, you are honestly brilliant! Amber, your invitations and signs were super cute! Wendy, I felt like I was in a restaurant, your food was outstanding! And Brooke, I could of had 5 cupcakes, they were soooo delish!

Mark and I are thrilled that alot of our blog following is fellow artists and photographers. Its always fun to get comments and look up other photographers blogs through out the day... Two years ago we started posting alot of information about our business and topics that would interest photographers... then last year we started teaching "one topic" two hour, "min classes" to photographers... and then... we realized our blog was becoming sooooo flooded with photographer information that we needed another place to interact and share this information. We do our best to have our blog be 60% bride focused, 30% personal posts, and 10% photographer/business related. We have some super exciting news!!!  The Mark Brooke Studio is finding another awesome studio location to meet all our Rad clients in. It is sad to see the old studio go (pictures below), because we have met with so many amazing clients, built some great wedding albums, and edited tones of epic weddings.... But there are better things to come for the Mark Brooke Studio. We have been on design blogs for weeks planning out the new design and mapping out the future/direction of Mark Brooke Photography. We are building a new website as well, so in the next few weeks there is going to be some great new changes.

Hello all you WPPI party animals. Last minute I (Mark) would like to open up some "Coffee Date Mentor Sessions" for any rad photographers that are going to WPPI. Every year Candice and I have been able to meet with several awesome photographers over coffee and I would love to continue the tradition. Here are the Coffee Mentor Session details:

Date: Sunday -Wednesday

Details: 1 hour coffee date (email to sechedual the time and the location)

With Who: Coffee Date with Mark Brooke

Topic: any photography topic is open of discussion: I.E. pricing, branding, booking out your year, flash, photography skills, editing, you choose!

Price: $175 for one photographer,  $110 per person for 2 photographers, $85.00 per person for 3 photographers.

I went out the the salton Sea with a close friend of mine to shoot things. Doug, brought his speed-o-trons, I brought my AlienBee's, and We lit the crap out of the remnant, decaying objects that are still peppered throughout the slowly dying Shores.

The R-R-RADICAL foks over at Airplanes and Blazers gave us 2 tickets to give away!!!  That being said all you have to do is leave a comment below  stating you favorite picture in this post &  why, and we pick 2 of the responses to give a ticket to!

Also, Each of the winners will receive  a 16x24 Foam core mounted print of your favorite photo!
