As most of our blog readers have noticed the tilt/shift lens and lighting are a huge aspect to our shoots.... This is mostly because our inspirations are driving by high fashion and editorial and just plan RADICAL photography. Mark is kinda a nerd and likes to bust out strobes of all kinds at our shoots (if time allows). In this post we decided to post ALOT of our lighting photos so you could see more of the finished product that our clients get. Lighting in our opinion can add sooooo much to a photo and it can really help differentiate your photography from others around you. In the next few weeks Mark and I are going to be putting together a little something special that gives more details into how we do our lighting, so stay tuned!
Chris and Heather are the kind of people that you meet and you feel like you have known them forever. The first time we met them we went to dinner (at our favorite sushi place, sushi plantation) and spent most of the time talking as if we were old friends catching up on life. I dont know if it is just us, but Mark and I feel super blessed to work with so many rad people!
We shot Chris and Heather at LACMA, which is an out door art center in LA. We had shot there before, but this time we gave it a different spin... we used the sun flare (lots of it) and of course we used our lights :) Here are some of our favorite shots!

The 7th one is hands down the best!! There are so many good places to shoot where you are, but you could shoot in a dump and you would still rock the photos!

The lighting work is STRONG! Awesome session…and the shot with them from the neck down is so, so pretty…the composition is so not rigid at all, yet it’s so clean.
