Mark and I wake up every morning at 6:00am to the voice of a little man named Wyatt. We can hear him through the baby monitor yelling for us to get our butts out of bed and rescue him from his crib. Less then 6 months ago my sleeping schedule was much more....hmmm..... how do I word it.... AWESOME! But sleeping in until 10:00am every morning is long gone. Lately I have been shooting babies (that sentence sounds creepy, but you all know what I mean). And every time I go on one of these shoots I immediately feel a connection with my clients. Because like us, they too are getting half the amount of sleep it takes to function on an average day. Last week I shot another adorable newborn. While doing image selection I noticed this photo. It reminded me of my vision every morning as a stumble out of bed to retrieve my little man. Blurred.

Add Your Comment! That is sooooooo the truth. Mine are a little older (3 and
and they still don’t let us sleep in. Except instead of waking to a baby monitor, we often wake up to little children crawling in bed with us. And, sometimes, you wake up to them staring you in the face asking for breakfast!

That’s awesome
Lack of sleep can be a kicker sometimes, but the kiddos make it so worth it!
