More and more I am finding these hip and urban coffee shops, and I love them! Our favorite is the Gypsy Den in Costa Mesa (in the Lab). There is just something about a coffee shop (note: a small one, not some big massed produced starbucks) that gets me all relaxed and in a chill mood. I have had several client meetings, girls bible studies, photographer breakfasts, and have had major bonding happen in Gypsy. Right now Mark is completely rebuilding our Garage into a super awesome client studio. which leaves our bottom floor of our house open for new decorating ideas. So my new inspirations are Urban coffee shops. Its hard for me to decorate my house modern (solid primary colors) because that is how every ones parents decorate their house. Its almost like the pull of society tells you "you must paint a wall red, you must buy a big modern L couch"... well not me! I just picked up the book "Domino" and I LOVE IT! Its super anthropology with a twist of awesome. And the best part about it is that Mark loves it too!

Jeremy and Nicole can also be called a "twist of awesome". We shot their wedding last week and their whole wedding blew our mind. You really can't go wrong with a little Monique Lhuillierand a Little Christian Louboutin. We did not get the opportunity to hang/shoot with them before the weddings, so their total awesomeness was such an added bonus! Their wedding was at the Cicada Pent house! Everything about it screamed classy and fun. Their family was awesome, their bridal parties were energetic, and their wedding was a blast. We had such a great time being apart of their wedding!
