So I have written three different first paragraphs, and erased them all because I really feel like I should talk about albums instead. Incase you were curious what my previous erased paragraphs were... I wrote about my awesome time at Jessicas Batchlorette party (which was erased), and then I wrote about Mark being an adult and having braces (which got erased), and then I wrote about how I stock my Baby registry at Babies R Us (which was erased). All three were awesome thoughts as well as fun blog posts, but I will have to save them for another time. So, what i choose to write about today is..... Albums! Albums are soooo important! There are very few things that a bride can walk away with when she gets married. The things that come to mind right away are the brides and grooms new wedding bands, and photography. Photography is honestly one of the only things that last when the cake has been cut and the food has been eaten. A bride spends months planning the "perfect" wedding and it seems to go by with a blink of an eye (I rhymed on purpose :). Albums on the other hand are great for a bride because they will cost any where between $800-$2900 to make (for a single volume), but they will literally last a LIFETIME! Mark and I are currently building an album out of some photos that were taken of us a few months back. Its not even my wedding album but I know when I am 40 I will cherish it, and be so happy and thrilled I have it. And that is on a small scale... Im talking about YOUR WEDDING album not just some random photo shoot of you and your spouse. Most of our package come with albums. We do this because we want all our clients to be able to walk away with a product that will literally last a LIFETIME! In short, I love albums because I love my job. I love capturing emotion and someone's wedding day. Albums are a product that will remind a client of their special day for the rest of their life.
Karla and Jason are two awesome peps from San Fran! When we were up there two weeks ago we go to hang out with them and learn how rad they are as a couple and as individual people. They have been married for two years now and they wanted a fresh portrait session done of them to celebrate their two year anniversary! We love doing shoots like this, and Mark and I really try and capture our marriage in a "photo shoot" from year to year also. Karla is (obviously) simply gorgeous and Jason is so kind and loving. You can tell they are super happy as a married couple! Here are just a few of our favs.

Wonderful! Love the way you used the texture. My fave though is the one where Karla has her head thrown back.
Will you post pics of some of your album designs sometime? Would love to see your work. Do you design them yourselves? Who do you use to print them?
