Chris and Katie made me smile the minute they walked threw our studio door! Katie and Chris met on their college crew team (which is way awesome). They started off their relationship with four solid years of being friends, and then another 4 years of dating. And if you meet them, you just know they are perfect for each other. For their engagement shoot they wanted to incorporate their love for water... so a sail boat shoot was perfect for them :) We are soooo sooo sooo excited to be apart of their wedding!

Tami and Ryan are featured again on our blog!!! As they are trecking across Europe on their honeymoon (so jealous), we have been busy in the studio rocking out three of their awesome photo shoots. To see their engagement session and wedding, check the posts below.

Since I have sang from the rooftops how much WE LOVE THEM in previous posts, I think I will keep this one simple. Here are just a few of our favorite images from their "day after session/post wedding shoot". This was shot the day after their wedding (but clients can shoot any time after the wedding date), and they wanted some place with COLOR!!!  Well I think we can all agree we captured alot of "color"!!!!

Every morning I wake up around 6:45 to the sound of Wyatt yelling;  "mooommmaaaa... dowwwwwnnnn (meaning get me down from my bed)". Its one of the cutest sounds I have ever heard. Mark and I look at each other and take turns using our non-verbals to say, "its your turn to get him". So this morning was my turn. When I found him this morning he brought tears to my eyes. He's so big and so cotton pickin' cute at this age (a year and a half). It made me realize that time is flying by way to fast and I desperately want things to slow down. I cant believe Mark and I have been married over 4 years. I remember when we were on our honeymoon, it feels like yesterday. So... on this Monday morning, stop, breath, take a minute from planning your wedding (if you are a bride), or editing your last wedding (if your a photographer), and breath. Life is happening :)

All our clients are truly amazing and we could not be more thrilled to play a part of thier weddings! Tami and Ryan are so cute, funny, and thoughtful! We have known them for over a year as friends, and as clients we feel truly honored to photogrpah their wedding. Tami and Ryan had a PINK wedding, which is secretly my dream... and with all the amazing vendors they used, I am truly jealous!!! Here are just a few of our favorite images.

Three glorious days!!! What the heck is she talking about, you are probably wondering?... Well let me explain... This past weekend we got to spend three glorious days with Tami and Ryan. On Friday we shot their engagment session (featured below), on Saturday we shot their wedding, and on Sunday we shot their "post wedding shoot"! So in short, Tami and Ryan are going to be all over our blog for the next week, and we could not be more excited!

We shot their e-session in the fields behind our house. We met Tami and Ryan in New York last year while teaching some of ourMark Brooke Classes. We immediatly thought they were RAD, and were thrilled when they hired us to shoot their wedding a few months later. One thing I always ask clients is for them to share something interesting about themselves... Their "interesting" thing is that the number 13 is everywhere!!!! Here are just a few Tami listed to me.

Tami was born on the 13th, Ryan's hockey number was 13, They started dating on nov. 12th 2006 (If you add up the numbers in the date it equals 13). They got engaged on january 13th, Their house number is 508 (add them up it equals 13), and they are got married on friday the 13th. None of these are intentional!

Happy Friday everyone... I hope your week has been fantastic,  and your weekend ahead is even better... We have been super excited to post Sandra and Peters engagement sessions all week. Sandra and Peter are two awesome clients of ours that are getting married in just a few months. When Sandra and Peter hired us they won our hearts over by telling us a little about them and their family. They are sooooo amazing, and such a perfect couple. We are thrilled to be apart of their wedding. Here are just a few of our favorite images :)

One of the most memorable weddings I shot this past year was Cecile and Julian's wedding. We drove almost 2 hours (in the middle of NO WHERE) to get to a remote location for portraits (which ended up being spectacular). It was back in the day when I had my mini cooper (I miss that car sooo much), and I just remember following their nice limo, driving 60+ mph on a dirt road. It was honestly a scene from a movie... which ironically is where we ended up shooting, the location is a movie set!  Since we are launching our new site soon, I have spent alot of time diving into past weddings. Well, this morning I found this beauty, I had to share it with our blog readers :)

Dolly and Andrew are super funny! Even the way they met was super awesome!  Andrew somehow got sucked into going to knotts Scary Farm with 6 girls, one of which was Dolly... That night ended up with him chasing around 6 screaming girls and leaving that night not knowing his future wife was one of them. About two months later they reconnected and Dolly took him out for his birthday. Fast forward  3 1/2  years, Andrew proposed to Dolly  and the rest is history.... They are seriously such an amazing couple! We are super excited about their wedding!!! Here are just a few of our favorite images!

Some of our packages come with an extra portrait session called a "post wedding shoot". We love shooting these because they are after the wedding (a week, a month, a year), and we get to rock out an awesome portrait session back in the wedding attire. There are a few reasons why our clients choose to do this, the most popular reason is because they just want more awesome wedding photos.... but others do it due to; wedding day light, timing, not wanting to get the dress dirty on the wedding day, and a "different" portrait location than on the wedding day. Mark and myself did our post wedding shoot becasue we wanted something other than "boat" photos (we got married on a yatch in newport). So back in the day, we went to vegas and rocked out a fun shoot that was totally different than our wedding. And the best part about it was, I wasnt worried about getting the dress dirty :)

Sarah and Michael are two of our awesoome clients that took advantage of the post wedding shoot this past week. Their wedding was amazing, and we absolutly LOVE them as clients. Here are just a few of our favorite images...

I admit i'm a broken record when it comes to our rad clients, but I have to say it again, we LOVE when our clients think outside the box and are willing to do something a little different! .... Like an auto shop!

Alysa and Adam are two of our awesome Mark Brooke clients this year! When we met them they immediately stood out as two people that just want to have a great time. When it came time to talk about their e-session,  they knew instantly that they wanted to shoot in Adams family owned Auto shop (which was obviously a brilliant idea)! Alysa and Adam met in January last year and were engaged the following December. They are so cute,  and seriously perfect for each other. We are sooooo excited to share this post with you, here are just a few of our favorite images!
